Kumiça Jenó: Narrativas Poéticas dos Seres da Floresta

Márcia Wayna Kambeba is an Indigenous woman of the Omágua/Kambeba people from the Amazon. She is a writer, poet, songwriter, photographer, speaker, activist, and teacher. In this book, Márcia presents 25 narrative poems about folkloric figures found in various native cultures, particularly those of the Amazon. The poems retell the oral traditions passed down to the author by her ancestors. Through this work, Márcia shares her ancestral heritage, allowing us to understand the intrinsic relationship between the forest, its beings, and its peoples, in a poetic style that captivates and inspires reflection on respect for Nature.
